Communicating with Power - A Workshop for Women in Technology

As women, we have largely been conditioned to care about what other people think about us and behave in a way we can belong. This can show up as being nice or accommodating, and the impact is that sometimes we have a smaller impact than what is needed by our team or organization.

In this interactive two-hour session, you will hear about important research on gender, communication and power in the workplace. You will learn how to replace self-limiting speech and writing habits with new language that inspires clarity, connection and courage. You will gain experience on how to use body language to communicate powerfully and confidently.  You will leave knowing how be more compelling and powerful in your written and spoken communications with any leader at any level of your organization. 

A networking hour will follow the event, so you can mingle with others in the women in tech community and share ideas about communicating with power.
